LESSON 7- 23/09/2015

LESSON 7

Brief description about the class

Today, the first part of the class we have dedicated to do a practise related with the “Principles of The Organic Law of Education”.

Afterwards, we have talked about the new Spanish law of education “LOMCE”. The professor has shown us its principals aims, objectives, characteristics and changes from the oldest law. We’ve spoken about this idea “In LOMCE, arts it’s an optional subject, not obligatory”.

What I've learnt

In this class, I think I have learnt very different things like the new Spanish law “LOMCE” and new vocabulary like: core subjects. Thanks to the professor, I have checked a new way to do classes more dynamics and funnies especially when the pupils are tired, and she has taught us how we can work differents areas in our subject, like physical education, music, plastic...

The professor has done this starting with small group work that they active children and not directly with a master class. Also, she has worked physical education with us ordering us to stand up, clap our hands, sit down...

My personal opinion

In my opinion, it is disgusting to hear the teacher when we have just finished lunch. For that, it has seemed to me that the new methodology used for the professor has been so good, because we’ve put our minds in operation very quickly and we haven’t been bored.

I think that introducing this methodology and working some areas like physical education or music (like we’ve done), it’s a way to disconnect a few minutes and continue with the class with more forces. Also you can work laterally contents of other subjects.

Regarding the presentation of the Preamble of “The Organic Law of Education”, I think teachers have to know it, because it is the base of the education in our country.
