LESSON 15 - 07/10/2015

LESSON 15

Brief description about the class

In this class, the professor has shown us how to use the translator called Linguee.

Then, we have been talking about CLIL and bloom taxonomy with its skills, keywords...

We have done a very interesting task. In groups of 3-4 people we had to choose one example of a CLIL activity. My group has chosen “The causes of the Second World War”. This activity consists in an audio which explains the causes of the Second World War and children have to answer a little test about what they hear.

We have had to do the activity like if we were children. After doing this activity, we have had to explain the rest of the class what our activity was, its orientation, what age have to had children to can do it...

What I've learnt

Principally, in this class what I have learnt is how to structure a CLIL activity. With all of the examples said by my partners and my group, I could have an idea about this method and its application. So, I have known more about this fantastic method.

My personal opinion

It has been such a different class from the others. I think with this type of class we can learnta lot of how we can prepare activities to our children, or how can we structure a class or a unit and things like this.

I have could learn many things and I have enjoyed a lot. This is another view of how we can learn. Also, this class prepare us in a different way, like a real teacher and it’s an active lesson not a passive lesson where we can change ideas and grow like teachers.
