LESSON 10
Brief description about the class
Today, we have continued reviewing the Phonetic. The teacher has shown us the diphthongs and the consonants.
Afterwards, we have applied what we know and we have done some phonetic transcriptions.
Finally, the professor has explained us what a limerick is, showing us some examples, how we can use it with pupils and at the end, we have created one.
What I've learnt
In this class, I have learnt a lot about phonetics (how we can identify diphthongs, vowels and consonants, how they are written...). Until then, I hadn’t any knowledge about it.
Now, I have known a lot of phonetics thanks to the professor. I can translate any word in phonetics translation, so, this class has been very useful to me.

My personal opinion
I think that an
English teacher has to known perfectly the pronunciation of each word, so I
find very useful and interesting this type of classes, because until now I had
never studied anything about phonetics.
