LESSON 20

Brief description about the class

In this class, the professor has given us a check list about the following topic 'The teacher of the XXI century must be able to'. We have reviewed this check list and we had to say what thing can we do or what we can't do it, e.g: Use sticky notes online to capture interesting ideas or identify safe online teaching resources for students. 

Afterwards, the professor has shown us some different online tools that we can use with our pupils in our future (point 5.2 tools for teachers and pupils in the didactic unit). We have seen some different online activities that children or us can create. 

Also, the teacher has taught us how to create forms for conducting surveys on a specific topic, how to write an online short story, how to do interactive activities with our students...And she has shown us some examples of this type of tools and activities.

What I've learnt

I haven't learnt any grammar or any vocabulary, but this class has been very useful to me. Like I said, I have not learnt anything about grammar or things like this, but I have known a lot of things about tools and techniques that I am going to be able to use in my future.

I think it is so important to me as a teacher, because this type of classes taught me to be a real and creative teacher. I have learnt a lot about how to create surveys forms, online stories, interactive activities, how we can use google earth or google sky like a learning tool...

My personal opinion

I have found this class quite fascinating and engaging. This type of classes don't teach us didactic or grammar or vocabulary, but they teach us to be good, real, creative, motivating teachers. 

I have never heard about any online tool that the professor has shown us, so this knowledge is very important in my educational background and it makes me to be a better teacher, who can manage online tools and who can create motivating classes where children were fascinated and want to learn more and more in an easier form.
